Afrihost has unveiled its “MyBandwidth Mobile App”, enabling its ADSL subscribers to track their bandwidth usage

Seriously though, we have MANY clients still on capped packages, and many clients on uncapped who like to monitor their usage to avoid throttles, etc.

And we're establishing a platform to build in all sorts of functionality like top-ups and a lot more

Using it to see my current IP and usage on uncapped,always handy,cba with a DYNDNS client now

Arg, this is exactly why the Web Africa API was built, so that apps like these could be built around the WA infrastructure. So sad it never went anywhere.

Originally I thought it would be cool to have a little Windows notification icon that you could click to view your usage, but unfortunately it never came to pass.

The Afrihost app looks pretty stylish, which is nice. They've taken huge strides in the past year or so in updating and modernizing their image and I must say it's pretty impressive.

Idd,give option to reset lines,adjust speeds for self management,report issues and network status notifications and this thing will be the boss
