Currently using Axxess ISP-I get heavily shaped after 20 GB-any alternatives?

I`m currently on the Axxess 1 mbps line and the just uncapped 1024 kbps option.
I received a 2 star rating ( being one of the 20% most active data users in a certain time period ) therefore being downgraded and my account became less of a priority. I cant even google or browse my email properly during the day. After 5 it`s o.k. I only used about 20 gigs.Is that normal by isp standards or is there alternatives to a more pleasant surfing and downloading experience?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated!!

I left Axxess after similar problems last year. Also on a 1Mbs line, I couldn't even check email one day. I called them to ask why, they told me I was on one star and throttled.

10 minutes later, I was using WebAfrica as my ISP. Problem solved.

I pay R445 pm excluding my line rental from telkom .So I`d say not more than R500 pm.

Yeah, same for me and AXXESS. Pity really. Well, I'm on OpenWeb and its pretty good with excellent support.
