Problem with YouTube Download Manager for Chrome

I added "YouTube Download Manager" extension to Chrome and got it to work correctly to download 8 episodes out of 10 of "The Bargee". Now it has stopped functioning and does not present me with the Download format menu.
Has anyone out there had the same experience and how did they resolve it?

I have sort of solved the issue by going back to Firefox which worked perfectly. I think that Chrome is too buggy at this stage.

Heard that Google/Youtube are going to clamp on down on websites and add ons which allow people to download videos. Since Chrome is Googles product it could be a something which Google done...but this is all hear say

I have also heard reports of Google doing that.
They actually sued a company which allowed people to record MP3s from the youtube videos.
