Default Mandela Day - What't you do?

What do you think about Mandela day? Will you be doing anything today? Or do you think its just another random day?

They interviewed a lady on Morning Live who is also celebrating her birthday today and on national tv she says that whilst she is honoured to be celebrating this day, she hopes, when Mandela passes on which will/might be soon, that the world declares this day a public holiday which would make her very happy.

I wonder if the birthday boy will invite her to his bash.

I'm sure, that's a tale that strikes me as a wee bit above your ability to comprehend.

Actually, I have never voiced an opinion about Nelson Mandela on the forum (as far as I can recall), so you are, as always, grasping at whatever assumption... fits your assumptions.

Im off to clean up the local botanical gardens at lunch time. Might as well do something to celebrate South Africa's greatest citizen.
I believe Ayn Rand's first love poem went: Roses are red, violets are blue, finish this poem yourself you dependent parasite".

Same thing I do everyday. Take kids to school, clean house, perhaps go cycle. If I was at work ... I'd work.
