Interception law could cost cellular operators R300m

I'm more concerned to the cost to potentially millions of South Africans who will no longer have access to telecommunications should their prepaid cell phones be disconnected.
 
Who's to blame?

It's hard to tell who is the good, the bad and the ugly in this soap opera. It's a stupid law, but for the cellery crooks to complain about a mere R300m is also laughable. With their numbers, it would probably mean minor cutbacks in director's bonusses, yearend parties, TV advertising and sports sponsorships.

o no, cost isn't a problem just pass it along to the consumer of course.nevermind disconnecting people on prepaid that actually trying to make a living....
 
Wait for the law to be implemented. Then buy lots of extra sim cards and have it registered on your name and make phone calls to friends and family describing how you plan to pull off a crime. Then wait and see ...

PS Don't forget to dispose of any incriminating evidence just in case they come and bust you for suspicion (I'm talking about the pot, and also take down your wireless equip)
