damn i did not know that? besides sitting and counting the points is there a way to tell how many blades your lense has?

You can always look it up online . . . and there's only one 'e' in lens.

Be careful of taking photos directly into the sun. A lens is a magnifying glass. It can burn the curtains or even the sensor.
