Finally! I have been asking around for ages now. I wonder if Vodacom in my area will put me on a waiting list for the Pebble Blue version...

Sigh... I was also waiting for this one but my contract expires before the end of July... Looks like I'll have to settle for the white one.

I got a white one (32GB! Woo!), and bought a blue flip cover. It replaces the back cover, so it's pebble blue, with white on the front. I like the contrast more than I would have a completely blue phone, I think.

I don't know about the price part; the article states that there will be no difference in price.

How is the flip cover working for you? I was looking at that one but am wondering how practical the flip cover is for when you are talking on the phone etc? Isn't it a bit awkward? A good cover does sound like a good idea though...

The question we should be asking is, why is the S3 so over priced in SA?
In Hong Kong you can pick one up for under R5000.
And don't tell me it's import costs, that's just BS!

I enjoy it. It's very unobtrusive, and I don't have to take the phone out of a cover. I got my phone on Tuesday. At first the cover was in the way when I made calls, but by last night I realized that it was flexible enough to fold the cover back to the battery cover, holding it completely out of the way.

You are correct, I 've also discovered just after I bought my note how flexible it is to use it with the flip cover on.

Does it not get in the way when you want to use the camera? And where did you get yours from? Was thinking of getting 1 for mine but when I looked at like Takealot, it was like R350 or something?

A work pal here in Senegal bought a blue one last week for R5600.

Apart from the price, I'm quite surprised how much I like the colour. It looks more grey than blue in some lights and black on occasion around the screen. But really, it's less bluey than I imagined so perhaps it was a good move to call it pebble rather than bog standard blue.

After a day of availibility the Pebble Blue handset is already sold out at the vodashop
