How do I cap data usage on a contract?

Will this lock his phone from data only or voice and data? He has a ton of free minutes and it's the data that concerns me.

Last time I looked, it was a hard lock on everything. Even if you had free minutes or an SMS bundle you couldn't use them.

There was a thread a while back where someone had a weekender contract and spend cap on their account. Once the spend cap was hit they could no longer make calls, even during off-peak hours where they had plenty of minutes left.

I don't know if this scenario has been fixed.

When call limit lock is in force..no outgoing calls will be allowed...even if the client has free minutes. Client can only receive calls and SMS's
