The snoms might not be able to do call hand overs from base to base but AFAIK they do support using DECT repeaters.

I see snom sell a M9R handset that supports DECT repeaters.

I see that the Grandstream DP715 is a similar price to the Gigaset. Does anyone have any experience with the Grandstreams?
I have a SNOM 300 on my desk and I've previously played with the SNOM M3 and I just can't understand why the build qualities are so different. Is the SNOM M9(R) an improvement over the M3?
If you want an exceptional build quality, and very good DECT solution for IP take a look at the I-Serv products. Single base station supports 30 handsets registered to it, with 10 simultaneous calls happening. Also supports multiple base stations, and repeaters.
With that feature set you would imagine the pricing being out of the ball park, you'd be wrong pricing is very good.
. Unlimited cloud storage
. An awesome util : DropBox
. Excellent Hosted Spam Filter : Spam Hero Free Trial
AFAIK the M3 was either outsourced or something they bought over.
I played with Grandstream corded handsets about 4-5 years ago and they were junk. Can't speak for current models.
Best DECT I've seen so far for business use has been Kirk Polycom, which unfortunately comes at a price.
