I did enjoy some of the twists (especially at the end). OH and of course the sound at Numetro was screwed, something was wrong with Banes voice as only his voice was super loud but the other characters were quite soft. Sounded like someone had dubbed Banes voice over the original...

    In the end I did enjoy the movie but it really needed that exhilirating dark and ominous atmosphere that Heath Ledger added with the Joker character. I give DKR 6.5/10
    I'm pretty sure his voice is meant to be like that.... was hard to understand at times.

    Watched it late night and for me it was amazing... I hate spoilers... I went to go watch this without having seen trailers or the making off, didn't read any user reviews.... Made it so much better... The Batman Trilogy 10/10

    I enjoyed it a lot aspecially the last 30 min which surpasses TDK in every way.Weakest link was Bane as a villian.You couldn't see him nor hear him properly.The narrative was also all over the place.

    Selena Kyle was totally hot.

    The Dark knight Rises. i saw the 1230 screening at Festival mall cine 1 and i have only one word. RUBBISH. 4.5/10 from me. i don't know what the hype was about. 2hrs 44mins of my life i m never going to get back. Story line was shallow Selina was the only thing worth watching punch lines were dull. Marion Cortillard s role was useless and also Joseph Gordon s. The ending is a pathetic attempt at suspense.

    Batman begins is a 5/10 movie didn't do it for me.
    Dark knight is one of my favorite movies the Joker is the greatest villain of all time. Everyone played their part well. The opening scene (bank robbery) gets you glued to the screen until the end. 8.5/10.

    The Dark Knight Rises is not a family movie. kids will never understand the movie. its very fast paced. Also i think some characters were created out of favour because the Director Chris Nolan worked with them on inception (Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon Levitt , Cillian Murphy). Bane as a villain wasn't bad but wasn't scary and very predictable and kind of weak as compared to the joker. I think multi independent villains would have done the trick. Eddie Murphy should have been the riddler. a Robin a penguin.
    Now i m waiting for the Amazing Batman

    @skyhawk

    the problem with the joker or Heath Ledger is that no one will do a better job ever of a villain so we cannot compare anyone to that

    and yes compared to the dark knight i would also give TDKR what you gave it

    1+ The two villains can't be compared. Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was good but overrated. The Joker in the cartoon and The Joker in TDK felt like two different characters.

    come to think of it TDKR is not a batman movie. you don't need to see the first two to understand the latest.Christian Bale is out of the costume more than he is in it. No fancy gadgets. honestly i cant think of one. Batman s means of transport is boring , straight outta of a sci fi movie.

    Watched last night at Ster Kinekor. The sound in the theater was terrible in the beginning, also had trouble following some of Bane's dialogue. Overall good ending for the trilogy for me. 7/10
