Their sales are stronger than they were before,
but nowhere near where they need to be to be considered "recovering" - a simple example of this was yesterdays poll on MyBB (what sort of smartphone we use)
WP7 and "other" were competing for last place, while today they have settled into 2nd last.

I beg to differ. This is an indication that the recovery is on the horizon. Many people were expecting worse results. Hence the 6.1% improved share price.
My guess is that Nokia will be making profits by the end of Q3 (2013).
You were not expecting them to be making profits now were you?
These are very good signs for Nokia and you should take heed.
It seems 7 Sept is an important announcement date for Nokia. Put that in your diary.
Its not time for you to trade in your iPhone or Android device just yet.

Cannot understand how Nokia's share has increased
Blackberry should be close to nr 1, as they're not selling the phones anymore, they are giving them away.
I would also be ashamed to try and charge people money for a "smartphone" that can only do EDGE.![]()
The Samsung Galaxy S2 - It is the only phone you will ever need.
Prepaid dominates the market ... so whatever comes cheapest for a prepaid customer will win this battle. This research outcome says nothing about what people would take if they could afford it or could get contracts.
