You best option here is to use a USB hub.
Connect your phone via the USB hub and then route any computer to the hub.
Firmware and compatibility can be a mission to resolve.
It will work with Cell C, but only 2G (not 3G). Be warned that 2G on Cell C sucks...

The Seller informed me later that the specs is as follows:
2G: 900/1800
3G: 900/1900/2100
So I'm assuming that it will work on all networks in 3G mode...I am going to mainly use the connection with 8ta, so I think I should be fine...Hopefully 8ta don't stop selling their R149 a month special![]()
Fine, they found another modem.
Just to be sure ask seller to write down what is exactly written inside SIM compartment. On the ad it was E352U (1900/2100MHz). Locally sold modems are E352U2 (900/2100MHz).
Seller claims it is two bands on 2G. I am sure it is wrong, as all these modems are four bands on 2G. But three bands on UMTS is possible. Point is that I don't trust this information.
This is what is on the box:
HSPA+ 14.4mbps
HSUPA 5.76 mbps
UMTS 2100/900mhz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE
850/900/1800/1900
Micro SD Card Slot(32GB)
So it is not three bands UMTS? This is third version...
Ok, This one will be fine.
Bought the modem, and so far it's working fineHaven't tested the maximum speed yet though...
Thanx for everyone's help![]()
