Lets take this case, 1 crazy loon was in a position where he could kill 70 people, he did so and we all condone the innocent, however imagine how much damage he could have caused if he were in a position of power.
I don't see how not having a government would prevent people like this from being able to obtain an automatic firearm.

Actually I think it would make it much easier, now the circumstances around them going postal or whether this was planned or not is just pure speculation at the moment.

I'll wait till more information surfaces.

Btw there are so many levels of governmet that there are very few circumstances where power lies with One bureaucrat that is why it is called a bureauratic nightmare . I have one of those once a month.

Apparently James Holmes dyed his hair red and called himself the Joker. From The Dark Knight, the Joker caused mayhem in Gotham city by blowing up a hospital, kidnapping people, burning money of the mafia and almost blowing up boats full of people. My theory is that Holmes was personally touched or inspired or motivated by the Joker to sort of cause mayhem as well. My theory is that he sort of felt a personal connection with the Joker and wanted to cause as much mayhem to the real world as the Joker did in the movie. He set up bombs in his apartment to sort of emulate the Joker when he blew up that woman in a room full or barrels of oil (or petrol, can't remember).

I think he, like the joker, didn't just want to kill people because he hated people or something, or because he was bullied at school. I think he just wanted to do something very anti-social, something no one else will do. I might be wrong though.

I base my "analysis" from an article I read a few years ago about how some movie goers were so personally affected by the movie Avatar that they were depressed and some had suicide thoughts.
"Ever since I went to see 'Avatar' I have been depressed. Watching the wonderful world of Pandora and all the Na'vi made me want to be one of them. I can't stop thinking about all the things that happened in the film and all of the tears and shivers I got from it," Mike posted. "I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in 'Avatar.' "

Some of these Americans are crazy I tell you. Why would people wear costumes as villains and heroes to go watch a movie?
The suspect may have blended in with other moviegoers who wore costumes as heroes and villains

In that case what I post next will fall under what some will call nonsense.

The effect of the images and the message of some of the movies that we watch as entertainment has and is meant to archieve those consequences , for example the previous batman movie was so dark I was not surprised to read that the actor who played the joker had killed himself.

We often joke about "the darkside" but that is what my post is about, if you recall some people were so paranoid they played stuff backwards and claimed to hear the devil.

I am not making any such claims but I am simply stating that some movies have really dark messages and teachings that affects spiritually and mentally weak individuals with varying results.

I see the killer called himself the joker, and then i saw posts on Funnyjunk about it with this quote:

You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when things go "according to plan." Even if the plan is horrifying! If, tomorrow, I tell the press that, like, a gang banger will get shot, or a truckload of soldiers will be blown up, nobody panics, because it's all "part of the plan." But when I say that one little old mayor will die, well then everyone loses their minds!
sadly true, 12 people die and the whole country mourns, yet hundreds die in Syria and nobody cares. it's a sad world we live in

Its not an inconcievable notion if one looks at some of the evidence.

Some of the "issues" or questions people are asking or talking about -

How does a unemployed student afford thousands of dollars of SWAT style equipment ?:

An honors student and Ph.D. candidate at a nearby college with a clean arrest record, Holmes allegedly entered the movie auditorium wearing a ballistics helmet, bulletproof vest, bulletproof leggings, gas mask and gloves. He detonated multiple smoke bombs, and then began firing at viewers in the sold-out auditorium,
police found him in full riot gear and carrying three weapons, including an AR-15 assault rifle, which can hold upwards of 100 rounds, a Remington 12-gauge shotgun, and a .40 Glock handgun. A fourth handgun was found in the vehicle.
Chief Oates earlier today said that police, bomb squads and the ATF have found a large number of explosive devices and trip wires at Holmes' apartment and have not yet decided how to proceed without setting off explosions.

"The pictures we have from inside the apartment are pretty disturbing considering how elaborate the apartment is booby trapped," police said outside of the apartment complex today. The "flammable and explosive" materials could have blown up Holmes' apartment building and the ones near it, police said.
    http://abcnews.go.com/US/mass-shooti...2#.UAvWv1LvgxI

If you are suicidal , why give yourself up to the police ?

If you are intent on killing as many people as possible, why tell the police you have boobytrapped your apartment ?

And the big 'kicker is from the above article :

Suspected Colorado movie theater gunman James Holmes purchased four guns at local shops and more than 6,000 rounds of ammunition on the Internet in the past 60 days, Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates told a news conference this evening.

"All the ammunition he possessed, he possessed legally, all the weapons he possessed, he possessed legally, all the clips he possessed, he possessed legally,".
The above issue is what many people are jumping upon, and this incident comes conveniently days before Obama and H.Clinton are due to sign a UN resolution on gun control.

So it is reasonable that some people are looking at this incident from another point of view.

However all that matters is that the masses see "another crazy with a gun", facilitating another step closer to an end to "the right to bear arms".
Abandon the search for Truth; settle for a good fantasy.

Nope, you can buy it anywhere, if it is used as a pyrotechnic then yes but if its just a spray then you can get it easily.
