So when are they going to look into the condition of CDL ?Corruption-convicted former police commissioner Jackie Selebi will be released from prison on Friday, Correctional Services Minister Sibusiso Ndebele announced in Pretoria.
"Mr Selebi will be going home today," he told a media briefing in Pretoria.
The former police chief was convicted of corruption and sentenced to 15 years in jail, but since his incarceration Selebi has been in and out of hospital due to ill health.
Earlier on Friday, Ndebele's spokesperson Logan Maistry said the case was under consideration.
"Mr Selebi has not been well and the job of the Medical Advisory Board is to look into the condition of inmates who have been unwell," said Maistry.

Wow...just wow... if you're connected to the ANC you might as well become a criminal (if you arn't already), fake sickness is your out of jail card.
What about all the other prisoners who are very ill ? Is Jackie Selebi terminally ill, or on what grounds is he being released ?
Incredible how ill these politically connected inmates get. Is there something contagious about the ANC, apart from corruption, nepotism, fraud and ineptitude?
Un bloody believable!!
