Me personally would go for the Drifta and connect via USB. Haven't used or seen the iDrifta, but for me there too much short comings. iDrifta only apple products, drifta has a variety. Always go for wi-fi Drifta. Good reception can be a problem and the wi-fi unit can be placed where you get best reception. You can then sit with the iPad anywhere within wi-fi reach. With the other device you are forced to watch where reception works (not always where you would want to sit).
Drifta sucks. Get a Walka.
Get the Drifta, that way you have a lot more options.
It's in the rough waters that you quickly notice the presence or absence of the ship's captain. Who is at SA's helm?
I got the Drifta and the Walka. We've only used the Walka really. But I'm 50% with unskinnybob on this one as in I personally think they both *suck* :/
But to answer your question: Get the Drifta rather . . .
I have the idrifta and its quite cool but reading the above post the wifi one is probably better.
