Hmmm... I checked yesterday and it was still R488. Price must've dropped today. I'n guessing this is to accomodate the 384 - 1024 upgrades to be made by Telkom at the end of August.

Yes they must have caught a wake up.... Cybersmart is R199 including line rental. I sent them a mail the other day and got this repsonse "For this reason you are being billed R488.00 and we will not be adjusting these subscriptions." at 11h30 today which I replied and told them about cybersmarts deal... so they must have modified the price after that.
What's their clamping like?

My account is now automatically 1MB, asked mwebguy and he confirmed that now I just need to wait for telkom to upgrade my line.

As in I did nothing to make it 1MB, just checked and saw that it was so. I am however still syncing to 384, that will only change to 1mb when telkom deigns to make it so.
