For me, the most racial aspect to this site is all the people complaining about racism.

Pulling the "you are pulling the race card" card are we ?

You know why there are so many complains about racism here ? Did it occur to you that it;s something to do with the fact that there are so many racists ?

So you'd prefer people to be out and out racists? I do somewhat understand your point here, but this is the price a large forum pays - There are going to be many views and personalities, some palatable, some not so much. You do at least understand my viewpoint to some degree, don't you? We need to be careful why, and at which point we choose to censor people - Especially if it's for reasons that we are personally sensitive about.

Of course I don't want thought control. Your thoughts are your own concern so long as you don't act on them to hinder the liberty or positive potential of others. A society is the sum of many parts. A society is a place individuals come together and interact. We are expected to afford each other mutual respect and dignity. When all you have to offer society is to encite hatred then perhaps society has a right to shun you due to your negative impact. The concern for the individual is very important however the mutual concerns of the group trumps this. That's why we have laws individuals are expected to conform to. It's paramount. If you want to be anti social and insist on belittling and insulting and hindering the dignity of others there's no way we have any ethical prerogative to tolerate you. This forum is no different.

I didn't agree with his banning (as things were on the surface at least), and I have stated before that I would not mind him back, personally.

Absolutely. It's just sadly for you the case that my distaste for the ignorant views of racial bigots is the majority view of those in control of this specific "society". There are other places he can go and air those views without fear of reprimand. So let him make a noise about race issues there until his heart is content. No harm no fuss.

I have extremely controversial positions on certain issues I know the majority of people here will find extremely offensive. I don't vandalism the entire forum by spray painting it in graffiti over every topic. I would expect to be banned if I did. You know why ? It's not all about me.

The guy was given more than enough rope. Too much months ago already if you ask me. He became increasingly complacent and cozy and the forum was starting to give the impression to him that he has free reign I suppose. Hence he started to push more and more and eventually he became so sure he was amongst fellow racist friends and was untouchable he went to far. At this point the mods did the right thing and made an example out of him. If not it would set a terrible precedent of tolerating open racism here. If they hadn't the cockroaches would come streaming out their rotten wood work. Well don't scum. You're not wanted. Good riddance.

No. any idiot can tell the difference between someone being negative and critical and someone smearing innuendo thickly over every thread. The thin veneer apache, dreamking and wily me etc "disguise" their racist views in is so thin it's deliberately undetectable. It's an insult to the intelligence to pretend we have to take them at "face value" when they're giving a massive wink through kitten eyes of innocence and stealing from the cookie jar right in front of you at the same time (while Mila +1's them to show approval for their anti social behavior.)
