Suggestion Re: banning

I humbly appeal that banning of members with high post counts like super gand masters be announced as it is like losing a moderator and to many of us a friend.

Maybe a reason for the ban could also be included .

It is reasonable to assume that a person did not get to 5000 post by sheer postwhoring but that the person would have made meaningful contributions not only to the forum but also to the lives of many lurkers and active contributers.

Maybe a poll would also be appropriate.

The problem here I think is that there is lot one sided thinking , if you listened to gareth this morning you would know that equates to very bad EQ.

I mean people start rejoicing when a prominent Arab or African politician dies this is very insensitive.

There are prolly a lot of arabic members and lurkers , so please take into account other peoples feelings when you post .

This place doesn't need to be transparent anymore than it needs to be democratic. What I've always assumed is that if you do not like the policies of a site, vote with your feet and find/start a new one. I've seen that destroy a, once very popular, local car forum.
