    Default My internet is not working

    My internet is saying that I have internet on my modem but is saying that I don't have internet access. The green light is flashing though. And I am on my phone doing this

    Have you checked to make sure your IP address is correct.

    a bit more information is required

    are you using adsl or 3g, what modem are you using, who is your service provider, is this a new installation or a problem that has only just started? the more info you can provide to the forum members the better chance you've got of people being able to help you

    Adsl, I am using a billion 400G wireless-Adsl Router, telkom is my service provider is has jsut started over the past night. Plz ask me for more info if u need

    Is it a new connection ??
    Can you access the Telkom site (www.telkom.co.za) past that in your browser
    Are you connected wirelessly to your router or lan cable

    If it is a new connection then you need to activate your line.

    Who is your ISP? eg Afrihost, MWeb, WebAfrica, TelkomInternet, axxess, etc.?

    If your ADSL light is on then it is not a line problem but your ISP...

    Power down your router and PC and switch them back on

    Shotgun solution of restarting everything best option here as suggested by Chrisc4290. Could also be your exchange though, call Telkom and have them check it.

    ADSL light is on, ergo ISP to fix.
