AFAIK you can't use any SA debit cards online at the moment, not even on PayPal. Has to be either a cheque or credit card.

Get yourself a Nedbank student credit card, or an absa one. You can use that for paypal or pay directly via credit card.

Doubt it.

Do you maybe know someone with a cheque/credit card? You could try to buy a virtual credit card using someone else's card, then activate your PayPal using that. Then you can link your PayPal with FNB, to your existing Nedbank account.

Will mean that you can deposit money into your PayPal through FNB and then buy online. A bit slower, but at least it will work.

your debit card needs to have a chip and cvc code, afaik that card probably does not have.

also needs to be mastercard or visa , that is probably meastro or visa electron.

capitec debit mastercard can be used online.
