Go and talk to your bank dude... As numerous people said, you can pretty much only use cards issued by mastercard and visa.

Yup, only the valid Mastercard or Visa is accepted. Not Visa Electron or Mastercard Electron. Some credit cards also have the electron logo on which means not transfers for them over international borders...

No, you can use certain debit cards with the chip and ccv numbers. As someone has said Capitec is a good example.

Personally left my Nedbank student account for a Capitec account.

Has Capitec started distributing chiped cards? I am with Capitec but mine isn't working online.

Branches in Gauteng now have it. I got mine from my branch in Eastgate about two weeks ago. Just remember when you get yours you need to tell them to activate it for online shopping. Then...you need to register you MasterCard SecureCode online. They give you a printout with instructions on how to do this.
Now why you loer en kyk gelyk?
Is ek miskien van goud gemake?

Thanks, Ockie. Will give my local branch a call tomorrow to hear when they will have theirs available.

Once you apply for a Payoneer card, it takes a few business days for the application to be processed. You may contact our customer support department at any time to check the status.
