    Hi there

    Please tell us what you want from your mobile provider (Vodacom, MTN, Cell C or 8ta), and stand a chance to win a 7’’ Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

    To enter:

    • Tell your mobile provider what you want. It will be advisable if you go beyond ‘lower prices’, and tell them what type of services or products you want.

    To Vodacom: I would like to be able to add a data contract on top of my standard voice contract (hence I would like to add your 1GB data promotion on my existing voice contract where I get a phone with it).

    To Telkom: I want an exchange in my area - there are over 1000 homes in the estate I live, and we all have to use mobile networks for data... (Woodland Hills, Bloemfontein)

    To Vodacom: I'd like an affordable Uncapped Browsing Data contract or add-on.
    You can limit Youtube and torrents and other bandwidth hogs, I understand, but normal browsing should not be limited and metered in this day and age with smart phones.

    To Cell C: Upskill your call centre staff. They really drag down the name and integrity of the company, and it ends up becoming the job of our very own rep on this forum to resolve simple queries that should not have been escalated in the first place. Oh, and direct contact with your billing department would go a long way...

    To Vodacom: I would like to have the same feature set (i.e. flat rate, email and chat) that a Blackberry user has, on Android. Barring that, the ability to bolt on the same specials that data contracts have to a normal voice contract would also be appreciated.

    To CellC: I want better coverage and consistent signal. Always loosing coverage in less travelled areas, where as my gf on Vodacom has almost full coverage. Example: Underberg (Drakensburg), Mabalingwe (Bela Bela).

    To MTN Please give higher data packages with smartphones on your Topup packages.
    Silence is golden, unless you have a toddler, then it is very suspicious.

    dear Vodacom

    I would love if we could have cheaper voice and data packages under one contract and to have better coverage in all areas so that we loyal customers dont think about jumping ship as soon as a better deal comes across

    To MTN: The ability to buy a data bundle with monthly allotted airtime - i.e. I don't want to buy airtime, load it, then buy a data bundle. I use my airtime mostly for data, hardly for calls.
    #brandplus for Vodacom who allows customers to do this.

    To Vodacom:
    1. Please sort out the 3g coverage in Allanridge. In this day and age GPRS/EDGE speeds just don't cut it
    2. I would love a contract were I can choose the length and the SP tells me air time is Rx a minute .. data is Rx a Meg ,, and a sms cost is Rx
    Example:
    I have R50 for mobile phone.
    Make a contract Month to Month
    R10 for air time
    R10 for sms
    R30 for data
    That would be ideal.
