    1. Just do it. Whatever has been done up to now is still not enough. Internet browsing on a Blackberry is ridiculously slow.
    2. Sort out the dropped calls - I drop calls every day on your network.
    3. Get competitive with your pricing. Data price is ridiculous. R149.00 for 500MB bolt on bundle when I can get 2GB prepaid from 8ta (and it lasts for 60 days as well!)
    4. Enable notifications when your bundle runs out and options to hard cap before you go OOB.

In fact 3 and 4 above apply to all (except 8ta).

With CellC AFAIK you can purchase an additional 3GB for R400.00 that lasts 365 days.

    To all of them:
Why do you recycle the prepaid sims so quickly? I would like to be able to have prepaid sims for all and only top them up when I need them, and not have to throw money away topping them up to prevent recycling when they are unused. The 30 day expiry is ripping off the consumers.

    Edit: To Cell C
Awesome - just seen your 2GB anytime for R99 (sim only) contract - Please make it a 1 Year contract though!
Also improve your website - allow purchasing of data bundles on your portal. Just spoke to CellC call centre to check, and it's like the dark ages - you must purchase and load a prepaid voucher, then remove the sim and insert it into a phone then dial *147# etc. (I know that you can also do it using the modem software if available - not that the call centre agent mentioned that option).

    To Vodacom and 8ta:
Well done for allowing the conversion of prepaid vouchers to data online. Now catch a wake up CellC and MTN!

Dear Cell C : 1. I like what you've done so far with your simplified contracts, now all you need to do is up-skill your call center staff to compliment your newly achieved 'smart business acumen' !
    2. Please roll out more "cell towers" to expand your coverage !!!! I hate roaming on Vodascum.

    Love,
    Me

    To MTN:

    1. I would like to be able to purchase bundles (SMS and Data) with my Top Up airtime I receive every month. Having to pay out of bundle rates is not a nice thing.

    2. I would like to be able to accumulate more than 599 worth of Top Up airtime. Otherwise it gets wasted.

    3. Please make sure the staff at retail branches know what to do. I have had terrible experiences with them. I know it's not wise to use them but I often am too tired to drive far to sort out my contract. The staff should explain to me that what I will be getting myself into when opening a contract. I had once owed MTN R960 because I had assumed that after an upgrade my debit order would continue and after I had a lovely argument with the consultant she had told me it was my fault and I should enquire about the process. Now I'm not saying that isn't true, it would be nice if they could at least warn me.

    4. Please extend the terms and conditions of the warranty of the phones people take out on contracts, I have had a phone (BlackBerry) returned to me saying it was BER although it had only had a white screen of death (I had not had a computer at the time to flash it myself). When I got hold of my computer, I flashed it with a clean install of software and it fixed the problem so I'm pretty sure it wasn't a hardware problem.

    To Vodacom:

    1) Call Quality and Connectivity

    • Voice call quality/connectivity needs to be improved.
    • Most times I cannot hear the person on the other side.
    • I often experience call drops and when it doesn't drop, the calls break up constantly whilst chatting.
    • Sometimes the call I don't receive goes straight to voicemail and the person trying to contact me says my phone is off.

    2) Data Connectivity

    • Data connectivity needs to be improved. More often that not, I cannot get 3G coverage.
    • It toggles mostly between EDGE and GPRS and they generally don't work.

    3) Voice, Data & SMS Pricing

    • Pricing needs to be reduced for both voice, sms and data usage.

    Suggestions:

    • 10c per sms, flat rate, regardless of time of day.
    • R1 per minute, flat rate, regardless of time of day.
    • Data usage to be reduced to that of standard ADSL pricing.

    4) Smartphone Contracts & Pricing

    • Have options of data bundles included, with a minimum of 500MB.
    • Contract should be reasonably priced regardless if customer has chosen data bundle with their contract or not.
    • Unused data should not expire.
    • Revise contract pricing.
    • Wave upgrade and downgrade fees for contracts.
    • Offer iPad contracts. Vodacom currently has many smartphones and some tablets on offer, but the iPad is a must have.
    • Also look at other tablets to offer on contract. The more choices will attract customers.

    5) Reward long-time customers.

    6) Reduce roaming costs.

Reduce congestion & offer better data packages - affordable prepaid uncapped long overdue.

Please fix the Blackberry service. Mine used to work fine until a few months ago. Now browsing between 6 & 10 pm is virtulaay impossible. Maybe stop reducing the price of BIS until you increase the network capacity!

By reducing the price you are taking on more subscribers on an already overworked network. Soon BIS will become unuseable all day.

Also reduce the price of data bundles, so I can get an Android fone

Customized contracts like they have in the USA would be nice.
Sometimes I get this weird urge to argue with stupid people, lucky for me there are plenty around....

8ta - better data coverage - Grahamstown for a start

Cell C - much better data coverage, Grahamstown and Tzaneen for starters, and better reliability.

Vodacom - Nightowl with Topup Data, and better pricing, it is just ridiculous.

R5 power hour for us top-up subscribers. Surely we deserve better reward than pre-paid clients.
    And world peace.
