Anyone else doing Die Burger MTB Challenge this weekend in Stellenbosch?
I am super excited about this ride, and it seems to get more popular each year. Did my first one last year, decided to take the 42k route since it goes right past my house but this year I am on the 66k. Any other forumites that will be doing Die Burger MTB?
This one very scenic event and I heard they still have entries for the 15k, 32k and 66k routes so if you are close to Stellenbosch and have not entered yet do yourself a favour and go for it.

Did the 42k twice and always been the last man standing
Also consider Gravity, it goes through my favourite route, Koggel Berg Nature Reserve and is the only time one can travel from Highlands Road through the Nature Reserve.

I was worried that I would be the last one on the 66k, but I have a bit more confidence now. Managed to finish the 64k Wolseley ride this weekend, its just as beautiful but very demanding, was part of the Cape Epic in 2010. Add to that the splendid mountain biking weather we had this weekend with temperatures below 10°C... lovely
