    Default RaspberryPi cases, buy or DIY.

    Now that I received mine it's time to play. I will do a DIY but the case below deserves a second look. I think of getting one. IMHO this one is of the best I have seen and deserves a thread starter.

    here is a nice 3d printed one. Its available at the shapeways store, but their site seems to be down at the moment so I cant search for it.

    It works out to about R30-R35 for the material and R80 per minute for the laser cutting.
    Will let you know when we've had the materials cut how much it cost in the end.

    That's a bit subjective? they could play with their software to make the cutting take an hour, surely?

    I concur.
    So in short you want it to be under 2 minutes... anything more and it more than justifies either a) DIY or b) plastic enclosure from ModMyPi.

    Where, what, when? Picture please.

    I tried one out of fake lego version blocks but was not impressed. Will rather make one out of an Alum block or something else original.

    Made mine out of lots of leftover lego - up and running - now to configure sabnzbd and sickbeard
