    Great race, Hartley did well to get that much contested bronze.

    He didn't have a good time in the final. Could really be a contender next time if he can avoid the hurdles. I think he hit 6 or 7. He would probably have gotten bronze if he had avoided the hurdles as he had a brilliant start.

    I don't think he has much of a chance in the final. He hit PB and ran brilliantly and was still a long way off Bolt, Blake and co but it was a really good run from him. Well paced. He looked like a world class athlete. If he bulks up, he will be really good.

    She looked really strong and pulled away from a bunch of them competing for bronze. Pity the race wasn't 10m longer because she would have taken silver.

    According to the results - disqualified .

    Edit: Actually DNF (did not finish) not disqualified.

    Load of crap. The Kenyan runner cut in front of our 2nd runner and brought us down with him. Our guy looked really badly injured. According to the commentator; we should appeal and could possible get a place in a 9 man final if the decision goes our way.

    We weren't doing fantastically but still, it was only the 2nd man in the relay.

    Wow, okay. And actually the results say DNF (did not finish) not disqualified.

    The one relay on track we're actually good at. Not good relays all round this meet.

    From Twitter:

    @OlympicsSA

    We may be able to appeal for re-submission into the MEN'S RELAY! Due to video proof that the Kenyan runner tripped us!
    and:

    @OlympicsSA

    Another runner will replace him if appealed. RT @BoniXaba: @OlympicsSA but he is injured. So how is it possible 4x4?
