Sure someone near the top might be manipulating or something but that could be said of anything (including JWs) and is ultimately irrelevant because the dude at the bottom is a true believer just as you are a true believer. So now because you think their particular belief is destructive you are allowed to mock it but if someone thinks your belief is destructive suddenly you have a problem with it?... this makes no sense and makes you look like a hypocrite.

I'm not, I will mock the schit out of it given the chance. Those people are a bunch of nutty motherfsckers. I just wanted some consistent logic out of you because as far as I could see you were being highly hypocritical considering what you were saying about Scientology earlier.

Why didn't you bold the second definition? Even in your first definition, God is given as an example of an ultimate reality.

Because the first shows it as applying to religion. You can't assume the second must always apply and so it doesn't refer to religion. When it comes to knowledge we are all agnostic to an extent but the term commonly applies to not believing one way or the other. Atheists have made up their mind to believe that there probably aren't God(s) so you can't lump agnostics with the numbers to make them sound bigger.

The atheist is skeptical of the existence of God(s) but believes nonetheless that everything can be explained without postulating one. At some point we have to acknowledge that we can't know everything there is to know, and we have faith for what we don't.
