Thread: How MTN rewards its loyal customers

Default How MTN rewards its loyal customers

So I applied for a contract upgrade on the MTN site in April when the site said I could because I really wanted to take advantage of a R99pm for 2GBpm upgrade promotion they had at the time. I was told that I had to wait for my voice contract to expire before I could upgrade so instead of complaining I waited and figured data prices are always dropping so the offer would still be there when my contract expired but come time the price is now R129pm for the same deal... all I asked MTN is to give me the deal at the price I applied for and they refuse, they have all the information on their system and their retentions department refuse to entertain my query and have basically told me that my 7+ years as a loyal customer are worthless to them and that I should take my business elsewhere. Poor form MTN!

    So take your business elsewhere...

There is no such thing as loyalty anymore.

Your time is now - close this chapter of your mobile-life and wave good bye to MTN.

I have also been a customer for ages, and lately they have lost interest completely in actually helping me when needed. Which is very bad IMO, as the issues are on their end (according to them, not an assumption).

Voda or Cell C would be more than happy to take you on as a new client..

I am currently a customer of Vodacom..

Unless they up their game significantly in the next 12 months, I will be moving to another service provider.

I am over this "Oh, I've been with them for 10 years" crap, either treat me as a valued customer, or I will move to another provider... no questions.

Vodacom rewards their customers regularly but I hate their random lotto numbers, because its always not Me, plus their 9 free digits that have had people given expensive products like houses. So, Vodacom is trying.

    Huh?

I dont rewards, I want lower prices! Vodacom/MTN, just copy Cell C's prices. Then you dont have to think as hard.
