Lol, I live in the Netherlands, so it's not exactly a backward country. You just have to have a referral to see a doc outside of a GP. Even when I needed some physio I had to make an appointment, be assessed by a trainee doctor, then went back to see the GP then they posted a letter to a physiotherapist who posted me a letter with my appointment time.

As for a gynae, that would only be possible if it was for a specialised gynecological problem.
Injections come in 2mnth and 3mnth options. Both had the same effect. The implants are not something that you can change the dosage on. Once they are in, they're in and they release hormones at a constant rate (AFAIK).
Will try the Evra thing - might be worthwhile!
