    Arrow MyADSL Movie Thread

Seeing as many popular series are between seasons right now( Smallville, Prison Break, Lost etc...) I thought i'd take the opportunity to make this thread where we can discuss movies we have seen, or are looking forward to or whatever....At least until the 4400 starts again

    So...where to start? X-men? MI3?

If u want a good revenge movie, then go with lucky number slevin. Its really good in my book

I am sure that the majority of forumites watch movies of some kind, so now is your chance!

Lucky Number Slevin? That a movie?

I saw XMEN3 and MiIII. I thought both were decent, not bad at all.
MiIII is action all the way. So thats what it is for.
XMEN3 was also ok, a bit long-winded some places, but still enjoyable.

Yes, Lucky Number Slevin is a movie. Dont know if its been out here yet, but it is pretty cool. One of those that will be a cult classic i think and stay somewhat underrated and underseen by the masses( like snatch a bit...)

Have not seen either MI3 nor Xmen3 yet. Am keen for the men of x, the comics and cartoons were classics. just hope i am not disappointed by the finale of the trilogy.

As for MI, number two really sucked so i am not expecting much more than crazy action and ridiculous stunts from this one

Out of many, IMHO 'The Brothers Grimm' i enjoyed the most purely because it was something different and unique. Not the same old ****e.

MI3 was ok..ish. About on par with the first two but I can say that it had a different feel to it.

Will wait for the DVD for men of X 3. The second one sucked so bad i doubt the 3rd one will impress me.

Well I saw it here and it was surprisingly good.

Really?? I did not 'get' the whole thing behind the popularity of that movie. Just didnt seem to work for me for some reason. And exactly who was the chick with at the end? I mean, which brother?!

Hehe. Again we do not agree

I know it was long and really boring for the first like 30 mins or so but i liked some of the fisht scenes like KK vs 3 T-rexs. Not a literary classic with deeper meaninig or even great acting by any means, but i found it entertaining nonetheless

It was long, boring, and a glorified love story. The cgi was the bad as well as the acting... well, i just didnt enjoy it but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I preferred the classic.

Sure thing, it was no classic. Agree that the CGI was sadly lacking for a 21st century movie(come on guys!) and so was the acting, but for a summer blockbuster, it was not too bad ...

They changed the reel after 30 mins when i watched it which was a bit redundant i felt. COuld have left that entire part of the movie out and it would have been no worse for it !
