Ok, now let me qualify this.

The subject of the thread pretty much says it all. What follows is just context.

As someone who has often argued that the only thing atheists have in common is a disbelief in deities, please believe me when I say that I am not trying to make any inferences from this topic.

By it's very nature, the best that could come from this thread is anecdotal evidence. That is all I can expect. So again - not intended to draw inference.

I know it's not a question that would lead to philosophical debate, but PD is still the only place for it.

Absolutely no point other than the indulgence of curiosity.

It was a thought that came to me today, and I personally couldn't think of any. This seemed to be the best place to gauge the experiences of others in a similar environment.

No, I haven't. I'm sure they exist though, and I could probably think of some examples of people I have heard or read about.

I'm asking about it in an every day SA context though.

I have met athiests who are racist, for sure. They believe that some races have evolved to be superior to others and provide evidence to back up their claims. For example, the book 'The 10000 year explosion argues that Ashkenazi
Jews have a mean IQ very much higher than that of the population in general and they put forward the evidence that this is so and postulate how this came about through evolution...

I know two, my uncle and a friend's dad. I will however say that imo atheists are in general less racist than the religious.
