Yes, in general my atheist mates are more racist that any of the religious ones.
Although, the level of racism is obviously relative. I mean, the most 'racist' person I know isn't all that racist in the first place.

My man, I give you kudos for actually admitting you have a problem with mixed-race couples. Most people would not.
As they say, the first step to overcome a problem is admitting you have one. Now you can start on the road to recovery
Funnily, this reminds me of my mother. When I was young, she would often tell my siblings & I, and I am paraphrasing here: while it was ok to be 'just' friends with people other religions, it was not ok to be 'too friends' with them, nor would it ever be ok to consider marrying them.
Imagine her surprise when I brought home a paleface. And then when my younger brother brought home an even paler one![]()

Mixed race couples? For me it depends on the two races in question.
There are 3 races I just look down on with few exceptions. I feel more often than not someone would be throwing their life away marrying into these races. My opinion of one of these 3 is based mostly on general culture though I think given the right circumstances they can be more or less the same, the other 2 I'm not so sure as they have proven the opposite time and time again.
There is another race I find some faults with but there are more exceptions whom I can live with so this would depend on the individuals.
The rest I'm generally ok with.
I would say these opinions all formed from merits I have been able to associate with these races throughout my life and observation. So in this regard I am probably very racist :/ Don't think that would change in a hurry but I seldom act on them as well, still friendly in person to all or at least try to be.

Speaking of which (from my earlier post somewhere in this thread) coincidentally another discussion I had yesterday with a much older person lead to a general disapproval of a particular race which I did not even lead on (I just started by asking questions about other countries and possibility of moving there). He was not particularly religious at all. Just to add another to the count![]()
