Let the Chinese come in and offer an alternative to Eskom. They are doing a great job at electrifying other developing countries,

Actually a third of the backlog is Eskom's network. They just aren't completely to blame this time.

I wonder if people get paid to create hype like this to justify rate hikes?

Nah, that's Zuma's go-to excuse. By 2015 the next joker will be in office, likely with an entirely different long-dead guy to blame.
So y'all need to hide yo uzis, hide yo assault rifles and hide yo bazookas 'cos they disarmin' everybody out here!

Maybe. Although he hasn't been dead that long. Maybe Jan Smuts, Willem Adriaan van der Stel, Caligula, who knows? The only thing we can be sure of is who they won't blame.

Sad thing is, I don't even know who these people are without having to google them...

    For real?

Wow, seems the education system is waaay worse off than the power grid.

Probably a good time to start researching going completely off the grid. AFAIK way too expensive at the moment, but it might eventually be a necessity.

It's the San's Fault. If they killed/chased the Colonialist away the switching gear would have been maintained and replaced by now.
No I'm not rude, just honest.
