I coudn't come with a title and I can't remember what I called the last one , but here goes I would like to know which of the community would willing by exercising their free will chose to follow satan if they knew that he existed and what he offered them.

You can add reasons but you don't have to but please do stay on topic .

I start this thread because of posts like this:

It's not a question I can answer personally, since I don't remotely believe in any gods, let alone the Christian deity and associated acts.

That being said, if I were to indulge in a spot of fantastical thinking, I have some real trouble viewing God as good and Satan as evil, if their actions are laid out side by side. As for as I can gather, the only reason people perceive god as good, is because he orders them to.

I don't think people can be ordered to think anything of the sort. I'll give it a bash Copa think that I am awesome , you must tell me if it worked.

I do think that the orders he give about how to live life provide guidance to people like myself and I think anarchy like in sodom and gomorah would not go down well with many , I mean there are a lot of heterosexual people who wouldn't want to be forced to have sex with any man no matter how good looking he is.

I don't really, to be honest. What little I do know, doesn't make me confident that God is any more of a good guy than Satan. You must understand something though - As a believer, your entire life (and afterlife, for that matter) is invested in you knowing that God is a good guy. Without that belief your religion would make no sense whatsoever. From my position, where I am not remotely invested in such a notion, you really need to grasp how patently absurd the whole thing appears to me (not just your religion, but all of them).

While my arguement was flawed I am impressed that you acknowlegde the existence of the creator.

That's the question isn't it, we don't know, all we've heard is the opposition's negative campaigning.

Since they have an established history of lying, as well as motive, how can we believe their assertions about Satan?
