You're doing it wrong!
You're doing it wrong!
You have one of the worst budget devices ever made to run Android & you want to use that as a benchmark for how you perceive Android as an OS?
I am actually lost for words now & you will be too if I put a Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3 in your hand right now.
BTW, I am typing this on my HTC Wildfire S, which I almost love more than my Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Wildfire S is what the original Wildfire should have been & much better phone than a Galaxy Ace.
I have a HTC Desire, i can honestly say i HATE this phone but i can’t go back to a normal phone,
The thing is, at first you are bowled by all the features and ease of use, it is really great that this small hand held device is capable of doing so much.
BUT, the more you use it, the more it frustrates you, when you’re in the car, and quickly want to write something down, or when you are trying to call someone and keep on pressing the #$#@% wrong number, going to an internet page and trying to click on a link but you keep on pressing the incorrect link, the shyt keyboard when typing a SMS....this phone has hit the floor (intentionally) on a few occasions, one compliment i can give it is that its a tough phone....
I used a Iphone for also ± 2 months, it’s a Nice phone and the touch screen is probably 100X beter, but it’s like having a Ferrari that’s govern at 100kmph, i had more functionality from my 6210 Navigator.
If they can bring out a Smart phone (Android) with a slide out keyboard, them i’ll be sold!, the touch screen is really my biggest frustration.
I hear what you are saying but the issues I have are persistent across Sense (at least in my understanding):
(1) Dial and End are the same button, so you can't end until you have dialed.
(2) If the phone rings in my pocket, I can unwittingly drag the slider to either answer or reject in the act of removing it.
Christ-mass is NOT for Christians. Jeremiah 10.Is the 10 Commandments for Christians?
Saturday is the Seventh day, Sunday is the first day.

Also using a Galaxy S (i9000) and is very happy with it.

not getting this? surely you don't need to end a call if you haven't dialled?
if you take the phone out holding the sides, slider shouldn't be affected. at least that's my experience.(2) If the phone rings in my pocket, I can unwittingly drag the slider to either answer or reject in the act of removing it.
Do NOT construe anything I type as advice
If I go through phone book searching for say Milo and I have two Milos and I click the wrong one, which can happen, I have to wait until it is dialed before I can hangup.
And if I have to remove my phone like it is some dainty precious object with two fingers carefully on the side, then it has served me no purpose. And it always happens on the calls I want to answer that get rejected.
