Thread: Unwanted SMSs

    Default Unwanted SMSs

I started getting these SMSs today. All of them are links to "bad" websites.

They all come through as SMSs and I have done nothing to sign up for anything, etc. How do I stop them from coming through.

It's very annoying ... the number comes up as +27 83 930 017672, which is an odd number.

    Help please?

    Bad as in Adult?

If so, report them to WASPA, if they're a member they're in stall for a big fine, you can't send that sort of thing without veryfing their age, and AFAIK - it has to be reverified every 3 months.

Usually only comes when they are charging you content fee which is usually very high. Check your statements too see they never charge you.

Checked with MTN. No content charge ... so someone is just targeting me.

Yes ... comes as a link to an adult site. Didn't click the second link. It has stopped.

This is absolute nonsense. What if I were under aged?
