Thread: Standard Bank mobile phone & tablet deals!

  1. #1

Wink Standard Bank mobile phone & tablet deals!

Yay!!! Now Standard Bank is also offering the latest and greatest.....the Samsung Galaxy S3 for R329 a month is a very very good deal. The phone itself is worth at least R7500 & the contract is R329 X 24 = R7896, so you are basically just paying for the phone and getting 100MB data, 100 SMS & 95 min talktime free. Great deal!

    I'm sure it will happen.

My best guess is that Standard Bank is just testing the waters to see what response they get.

Looks good! SGS3 deal is good! Now wake up FNB and offer the device with a contract!

Nothing to write home about - its just watered down contracts (less data) to make them look better.

The normal S3 is R369 pm with 250Mb Data, etc. They nail you when you go OBR ...

Biggest fail with this strategy is partnering with a SP. They're just another reseller like the retail outlets.

I'd rather have the device for R295 p/m (R7080 over 24 months) from FNB and choose my own SP.

I think the FNB deals are better. I don't want a Vodacom contract.... And I really want to get an iPad

I'd rather pay a little bit more for the included sms, voice minutes and data.

Got enough free landline minutes on my 8.ta contract, don't need a lot of mobile minutes.
