Default Need help finding a power supply/ charger in Durban.

    Good day everyone

I am currently trying to find a power supply or charger that can supply 5V and 2A for a small project I'm currently working on. It is surprisingly difficult to find one though. The only place online I have been able to find what I need at a reasonable price is at iKonic IT:
    http://www.ikonicit.co.za/index.php?...oduct_id=95015
    http://www.ikonicit.co.za/cables/pow...uct-95016.html
The problem with them though is that they want to charge me R90 to ship it to Durban.

Otherwise, there is an MTN shop in Pinetown that sells a cellphone charger with the ratings I need ... for R285.

Does anyone know where I can get a power supply or charger in Durban, Westville or Pinetown which can supply 5V and 2A. I should note that it doesn't matter what connector there is on the end of the wire, it is going to be cut off.

    Or anything from here:

RS delivers free of charge, in my experience.

I'd try these guys, they are just off Stamford Hill road.

Just go to builders express (pinetown), they have a ciggy lighter 12V to 5V 2A converter. Modify that .... Alternatively I bought a multi current charger (selectable) with a whole range of pin sizes from GovenMani in Pav.

EDIT: Any stock Ipad or Galaxy Tab (10.1) charger should be 5V 2A....

Did you go in? I hate that place, it's like Galmar. I always end up finding stuff and spending way more than I intended to.

I sent my brother to buy the power supply so I can't comment on how long it takes to find stuff.
