Impressive time.. only issue is that at the end of 57sec you have Windows on your HDD.
Edit.. I posted before watching the vid. lol

Ubuntu 12.10 works fine. But I'll try to switch it to Gnome 3 later in the week. The Unity desktop still doesn't appeal to me.
There is a major issue with all the GPU Drivers, so just read up a bit before you guys update them. I managed to end up in what they call Desktop Hell. (Free now)

I think Gnome 3 desktop will be faster and smoother on Ubuntu; but I have noticed fedora's Gnome 3 to be even more slicker! Advantage of Ubuntu is the community resources and all the tweaks. Also, DEB packaging makes it more accessible.

Give Ubuntu a second chance by installing Gnome 3 Desktop.

    Running 12.04 or 12.10?

    sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
    or http://www.webupd8.org/2012/10/how-t...esktop-in.html

There's also Ubuntu Gnome Remix 12.10 if you are interested.

Linux mint is great. I ditched ubuntu once they moved over to the unity interface. Mint running mate is a much better experience.
