There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.
It's sad to see the deterioration in progress.
He is keeping up his spirit though.

That's very sad.

Now I'm curious and youtube is blocked here at work. Anybody want to transcribe the video please?
Grav80 - It's a close in studio shot of Joost chatting on Air. Physically he looks the same as always, barring that his tongue is slurring and he is having a hard time forming words. The video does not allow one to see if he has lost weight, or what his other motor skill are doing such as how he might walk or use his hands when they are required to do something more intricate that hand gestures.
The man is still old Joost though - I never stopped liking him. After all - he too is human like the rest of us and is entitled to make mistakes like the rest of us.
Kudos Joost - hoping for the best.

I don't think anyone said he is not entitled to make mistakes ??
He is 100% entitled to make mistakes and when he did so, he paid a very costly price, he lost his wife and kids. That was his life lesson - no mistake goes unpunished.
It does not mean people do not feel sorry for him because of his illness.
His face showed sign of premature aging - not that same young smooth face that we used to know. He also mentioned that he has to shave with two hands because he just doesn't have those fine motor skills in his one hand anymore; also that sometimes he loses the feeling in one leg.

Very sad. No matter what happened no person deserves to be attacked by their own bodyscary what can happen to a person
Joost on Ballz radio. How apt.

Everyone makes mistakes in life, it's what makes us human. If Amor doesnt want to forgive Joost thats fine, but surely she would understand that he has the most agressive form of ALS, and could try help him - at least for the kids. She would rather pretend he doesnt exist and is a crass way of dealing with this unfortunate situation.
I watched a couple of interviews he did as recently as Feb 2011, and the difference between him then and now in this interview, both physically and mentally is quite alarming. He will always be a legend of the game.
You're 100% correct, he is a celebrity and therefore the average Joe will never be able to relate to what he is going through in absolutely any way because only he has kids, because he is the only husband that has made a mistake in their lives, because he is the only father in a family who is going through ALS. No one in the world can ever relate to that because what he is going through is entirely unique to him.
All I am saying is she should show a little compassion for the relationship between him and their children, if you actually watched the clip instead of being an *******, you would have heard him speak about how she does not answer his calls, acknowledge him when she sees him - particularly infront of the kids. (which is the reason I said what I did in my initial post)
Him snorting coke of a stripper's naval once upon a time doesnt mean that he doesnt love his children, sure it irreversably harms the "family" but it does not take away the bond between a father and his children.
