    Default Vodacom Smart Plan

Perhaps someone here may be able to help me understand

The Vodacom Smart Standard Package states on VC's website that:
Handset options are dependent on the deal selected – please enquire in store. Smart Light Plan billed per minute; other Smart Plans billed per second. * 75 off-peak minutes that expire at the end of the next month plus 20
promotional anytime Vodacom-to-Vodacom minutes that expire at month end. **Combination of anytime minutes, More Weekend minutes and promotional minutes. Anytime minutes may be used for calls anytime to any network, and expire at the end of
    the next month.
More Weekend minutes and promotional minutes expire at month end and can be used for Vodacom-to-Vodacom calls only. More Weekend minutes available for use from Saturday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59. Customers who sign up for Smart
Plans on or before 6 September 2012 will receive the promotional minutes monthly for the duration of their contract.

Does this mean that the unused minutes will not carry over for 6 months like my current talk contract?

Sounds like there's only 1month carry over. So you have 60 days top use those minutes.
