Vodacom broadband promotions to end; MTN, Cell C continue specials

We are talking data connections here, not voice. How is there 3g network for example? I don't want to be on Edge or Gprs wherever I go.

Vodacom does have better 3G coverage but I am either on edge or getting connection errors very often with Vodacon these days.

Does Vodacom ending its promotions tonight also include the special offer (also advertised as being until 31 July) of reduced call rates on the All Day Per Minute package (all calls 99c/minute anytime, SMSes 50c)? I suppose we'll find out tomorrow anyhow....

I just did a quick SMS after a balance check, and it still cost 50c past the promotion's closing date, so I guess that answers the question: that the promotional rates on All Day Per Minute continue, perhaps indefinitely?

Ok what happened to the MTN R189 for 2GB being extended? I see it also ended : (
R389 for 2GB hell no
