Insurance Headache

I just had a call from the Insurance, after having called earlier in the year to ask them if i needed to specify if i owned a fish tank and inquiring about what exactly is it that i was covered. They told me that i needed not to specify, but would look at the claim should something happen. What i fail to understand is why did they not tell me that they will only cover damages to the fish tank only if there was accidental cover due to a robbery or something to that effect. They just told me that they will be sending me a letter of notice giving me 30 days to find an alternative insurance since their cover did not suit my needs and they will be terminating my policy. Now the question is why did they not tell me that before i had an incident. If they had advised me otherwise i would have looked for other insurance covers, they lead me to believe that they would be there to assist.

What that letter really means, but does not state, is that you were not very nice to them and not even your money is worth having to deal with you. Thus, please leave and find somebody else to deal with you.

Thats what that actually means. And yes, they are well within their right to send you that. Most of the time this is also not without reason.
