It's irritating when people say you should unsubscribe and stream it off the internet instead. The problem is it will cost you much more to get off the internet at worse quality than to just get DSTV.

If you can get a uncapped 4/10Mbps ADSl connection for less than R590 a month then please let us know.

When I read about all this BS multichoice is feeding us I get highly irritated. So it's only coincidental that SS1 is only available on the premium bouquet and not all the others? They should change their name to Sinhle-Decision... cos This ONE company has DECIDED for us... the good people of South Africa...

Multichoice did this because they know most of their subscribers are in it for the sport, so they only allow the sport channels on their most expensive bouquet.

If Multichoice say that this model would not work for them, then they talk utter crap! I could use other words too.
Please check the following URL for the Olympic games TV broadcasters list.

I think it is a good idea that one picks the channels they want to watch. I have DSTV compact, it's so ****ty yet so expensive. It's not like people are going to only buy one channel from them; DSTV could say a minimum of 15 channels must be picked.

    How to do it properly:

    A) make a demand
    B) cancel sub

    Obviously not happening, nothing changes.

I dont have DSTV due to the fact that there is no sport package.. in stead i'll stream events from Supersport using a family members account.

I also have a Sky Plus account which I could have used to stream all kinds of sports online but I haven't managed to get a VPN working, i'm lazy I guess

I can endure crappy stream resolutions, but would love to be able to have SSHD

I use my uncapped internet for far more than just stuff to watch, so it's not fair to say that the whole cost of my internet should be allocated to that.
I would only allocate a certain percentage of it to that, and it would be far less than the cost of premium DSTV.

You could allocate in % data used to download 'stuff' vs regular. I'm it'd still be more than a DSTV sub.

It would make many women happy too.
I'd also be peeved if I had to do all the housework while the "man" just vegetates in front of the TV all weekend watching sport.

    +1.

Only when DSTV subscribers drop like Telkom subscribers every month, then they will listen
