Default How Easy is it to change ADSL line rental between ISP's

I have a MWEB 4meg uncapped data only package. My ADSL line rental is currenlty with Telkom. I was looking to change to the MWEB all inclusive 4meg uncapped to save the little extra each month, but I see Afrihost has a 10meg all inclusive for about the same price as the 4meg from MWEB that I'm currently for now. (link)

I want to try it out but will need to change ADSL line rental to from Telkom to Afrihost, then I might need to change it back to MWEB if I don't like the Afrihost package. How easy is it to change ADSL line rental "providers" month to month?

Dude.. rather now do that. It can end up being a nightmare. I had my line with Mweb and and cancelled the account. I asked them to move my line back to telkom but they cancelled the whole thing. Then it took telkom a month and half to get my ADSL enabled. They accounts department had not signed off on something and it got dragged. Then when moving to RSAWEB i had billing issues cos telkom billed me and RSAWEB billed me. Due to the billing being in advance, i got hit badly from both sides and had to pay both companies, they finally credited me but i never got paid back my money.

BTW... RSAWEB line rentals are the cheapest.. Im paying a total R351 for 10Meg line + 1GB bandwith..

It can be fairly painless, depends on how efficiently Telkom do their thing. With us, your service never goes down while billing transferred from us to them. Should you decide that you don't like our Uncapped product, you can still use any ISP of your choice while you line transfers away from us.

About as easy as it could be without being able to do it online yourself. We sort out all the admin for you and keep you informed by SMS or email
If AfriMan says it, it is so!

The discount only applied to Uncapped, and will not apply to an uncapped bundle
