My girlfriend decided to get a contract with MTN as they had a nice cheap deal, applied online with MTN Direct.
Was asked if she wanted to port her number number which she did. Eventually get the phones and the contract is not the one she applied for and the number was not ported either.
Basically MTN Direct screwed her over, been trying to sort it out but they refuse to port the number as "it must be done before you get the SIM". No duh.
Seeing as trying to sort it is a waste of time she decided to cancel the contract within the allowed time, except not a single person can help her with that, amazing how if you want a contract you can get it in hours but if you want to cancel it not a soul can help.
Anyway, my question is does anyone know what number exactly to phone to reach a semi-competent person that can help?
Also is there a MTN representative on the forum? You need to explain this pathetic service.
