Not surprising seeing that the refs couldn't even pass a physical exam. They can't keep up with the pace of the game. It also doesn't help that the PSL games are played like ping-pong with not much flow and rhythm. The Ref has to really run extra hard to try and follow the game ...LOL

Whats wrong with Khoza? signing an old, fat and balding sack of potatoes called Mbesuma and letting Rantie go, and it's not as if Pirates couldn't afford the R2 mil wanted by the Swedish team. He is gonna regret this, this boy will be a star. #rantover

And with that result came the first coaching casualty. Chippa has sacked Manqoba Mnqithi after just 2 games. Roger Palmgren's Amazulu have also failed to win a game or score a goal after 3 games. I think he might be the next coach to walk the plank.

Rumour has it that Pitso Mosimane was spotted at Chloorkop hanging out with Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe. I would be worried if I were Neeskkens

That's total bs! Good enough for promotion but after 2 games the chop? Bit short sighted. Not even a proper chance

Especially for a team who came through the play offs. Funny how his name is Manqoba but he isn't winning.

I hate it when teams do that to their coaches. They should be relegated, together with Black Leopards.

He's not the same coach who got them to the PSL. Roger Sikhakane coached them to the PSL, but was redeployed to technical director in July. Manqoba Mngqithi was then appointed.

    Last night's results:

    Kaizer Chiefs 2 - 1 Mamelodi Sundowns
Moroka Swallows 3 - 1 Ajax Cape Town
    Bloem Celtic 2 - 1 Platinum Stars
    Wits 2 - 2 Black Leopards
    SuperSport United 0 - 0 Orlando Pirates
Golden Arrows 0 - 1 University of Pretoria

SSU won convincingly, 3-0. Plenty of drama though. Benni talked himself into a red card, and saldy, Pirates 'supporters' ended up throwing stuff onto the field.

Swallows won 3-2 on the day, for a 6-5 aggregate win.

I'm happy that Supersport kicked Pirates's ass convincingly on top of it. Be as it may with Pirates only having 10 men.

Actually the guy that got them promoted was chopped just after.
This Manqoba who has now been fired was hired just before the league started and they now want the old coach back. It's a total circus at Chippa.
