If you're talking about cellphone companies, they are trying to squeeze the extra airtime out of you by calling them yourself. I had an account query and called Cell C yesterday after they promised to call in a few minutes' time the day before.
I've made a huge mistake.
It's a very South African thing - service in general here stinks. From call centres to restaurants, service is just lacking.
there are small pockets of excellence to be found, but excellence in customer service is far from the nerve.
