Thread: Safari 6 crashing on you?

  1. #1

Post Safari 6 crashing on you?

I had issues with Safari 6 crashing when opening new pages in new tabs. It would die every now and then , seemingly without cause. But always happened while opening a new page in a tab.

I found a solution at last. Uninstall AdBlocker from your extensions, and your problems will go away. Hopefully the developers of AdBlocker will fix the issue soon and can be used again.

I'll rather run around in circles than disable my ad block extension. Did you try to switch it off, open a tab, then switch it on. It's easy in Firefox, don't know about Safari.

Ad Block and Ad Blocker are two different ones.

Sorry, bad wording from me. Yes AdBlock is the one causing the problems.

I mostly use Chrome, but the crashing was irritating me in Safari ( Got paranoid that Mountain Lion was unstable ), hence me trying to fix it.

No. Only using the MyPlex Queue extension.

Well since uninstalling adblock, I've had no problems. I think that's the culprit
