So if you get enough people you can potentially earn a fortune by doing little work.
Problem is the products are imported and so while they may be the same price overseas, you end up paying R70-R120 here for a tube of tooth paste- no kidding. And it takes a LOT of convincing to get people to sign on at those prices.

So are the products any good ?

Supposedly they are. But I'd never say they are a great bargain - people get caught up in the emotion of thinking that they got a good deal for buying in bulk. What they overlook is that you've got to store the stuff somewhere and that you're impacting your own cashflow by handing out a lump sum in advance.

Nevermind the inconvenience associated with the ordering and collection of the products. You'll still be going to Woolies, or PnP, or Makro (or whatever you do) for the other stuff you use.

yes they're very good products, but good enough to justify the price..... I doubt it. I know people that keep their gnld containers and just decant cheaper products in so that they can keep up appearances.
Some people have made a lot of money, but they were the ones who got in early. Everyone else works their backsides off for limited rewards. (My families been trying to recruit us for years.)

Well he wasn't an investment banker. He was a scam artist. And salespeople for investment banks target high net worth individuals - not grannies and their last R100k pension. Anyone who gambles with that cash is scum...

Not banker, broker. And he was legit even, registered with all the boards and counsels and whatnot. But yes, scum he was.
That which comes into existence will eventually break apart and pass away

I am an Amway IBO. I've been reading your posts in this forum, and what you are describing is completely foreign to me. Are you sure it is Amway you're talking about? Did you really have personal experience with the business, or is this a case of "broken telephone", because most of your "information" on the business model is bogus!

    For example:

You don't buy the products in bulk and store them at your house to sell on. You, your downline and your customers outside the business either physically go to the Amway store to buy the products (as you would to any PnP or Woolies), or you purchase online and have the products delivered to you.

Amway products range from nutritional suppliments, to make up, skincare/beauty products, household cleaning products, water & air purification systems, waterless cookware, weightloss program (similar to weighless), and even some non-perishables. They've partnered with Vodacom, Mweb and Auto & General in SA, so you can get your cellphone contract, internet access and insurance through them as well.

Products are concentrated, and of very high quality. I challenge you to read the packaging of an Amway household cleaning product (for instance) and take note of the recommended usage amount per clean/wash/etc, as well as the volume and price of the product. Then go to your nearest PnP and do the same for Skip, Sunlight Liquid, Domestos, etc. You'll discover that that Amway products actually cost you less per clean/wash/etc. All their products are environmentally friendly and come with a 90 day money back guarantee. That's how good they are.

But, don't take my word for it. If you really want to know more about the Amway business, join and find out for yourself. Registration with the company also comes with a 90 day money back guarantee, so there is no risk involved in trying it out.

PS: Pyramid schemes are illegal, and Amway is a member of the board of business ethics.

That means buggerall. I've been conned into attending one of their presentations at Monte Casino a few years ago and having dealt with MLM businesses before, I an honestly say I would never touch another one for as long as it remains my decision. Amway's business model sucks a person in with promises of riches, and Robert Kiyosaki nonsense and then cultivates (emphasis on the cult) a need to continue - an unwarranted need. There is this subtextual cult forcing each other's hand with every purchase. It is ridiculous, and to espouse its virtues is only highlighting either your own deficiencies in business knowledge or your superior position on the MLM food chain...

Oh no ... Amway found us :/

Sadly I was also tricked into a conference at a movie house. They recruited a friend of mind ... And when they approached me, I thought it had to be legit. They didn't mention a name of a company - but rather they had been contemplating a business opportunity and my friend recommended me
    Jägermeiʃter can fix that!
